FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
1. I have been teaching for 5+ years. Is this programme relevant for me?
Yes. The CICT&L programme will enhance your teaching practice by helping you reflect on your teaching experience in all these years and improving it through knowledge and skills required for teaching modern classrooms.
2. I have already done the teacher eligibility course for my country. Is this programme relevant for me?
The programme is helpful for any teacher looking for upskilling their teaching and learning practices. While the teacher eligibility course you would have attended is helpful in building your skills for your local context, this programme gives you access to international teaching practices and resources. This broadens your perspective and helps you enhance your daily teaching.
3. The school that I teach in follows the Cambridge curriculum. How will this programme help?
The CICT&L programme syllabus is designed by Cambridge itself and is strongly aligned with the Cambridge teacher standards. While it is equally helpful for teachers teaching all kinds of curriculum, it will add a lot of value to those teaching Cambridge curriculum by setting them up as per Cambridge expectations.
4. My teaching job is very demanding. Where will I find time to learn from this programme?
The programme is designed for teachers working full-time in schools. The online sessions will be scheduled during weekday evenings or weekends. Some of the tasks will be completed as a part of classroom practice and the others will be expected to be done in the teachers’ free time. If you are willing to commit yourself to learning, the programme will not affect your school work at all.
5. What is the maximum duration by which I can receive my certificate?
The CICT&L programme at CuriousEd is an 18-week long programme. As a candidate, you will be expected to submit all your assignments at different points. After submission of your final portfolio of evidence at the end of the 18th week, you will receive your evaluated grades and passing certificate in the following weeks. CuriousEd will notify you about it and will also invite you to our virtual graduation ceremony.
6. Who will be my trainers?
The programme will be facilitated by accredited Cambridge Programme Leaders. These trainers will conduct live sessions and will also connect with you throughout the programme. Apart from the PL, you will also have a dedicated mentor to support you with the programme.
