About the programme
The CICTL programme focusses on efficient planning, classroom facilitation and reflection to improve one’s teaching practice as a professional. Teachers go through classroom observation and feedback conversations as part of the programme from trusted mentors, which helps them grow individually in their own context beyond the programme key learnings.

Shalini Reddy: Co-founder, CuriousEd | Certified Cambridge Programme Leader
Shalini Reddy is the Co-founder of CuriousEd and a certified Cambridge
Programme Leader with over 25 years of professional experience, including leadership as a Regional Head in the retail industry. She spent more than 15 years founding and running a school with CIE and CBSE curriculums, where she led curriculum design and teacher development.
She believes that equipping teachers with strong skills leads to the overall development of learners and creates a lifelong impact. Supporting teachers throughout their journey with a positive, coaching-based approach has been central to her work.
Shalini has participated in numerous Cambridge International PD programmes and attended major global education conferences. At CuriousEd, she leads training sessions for user schools and not-for-profit organisations as part of CSR initiatives.
Nidhi Tewari: Training Manager, CuriousEd | Certified Cambridge Programme Leader
Nidhi is the Training Manager at CuriousEd and a certified Cambridge Programme Leader. She began her journey in education through the Teach For India Fellowship,
where she worked at the grassroots level in a public school for two years. Building over her challenges and learning, with a deep passion for creating joyful learning experiences, Nidhi has been a trainer for 7 continuous years, where she has trained more than 10,000 educators across diverse curricula, including CIE, IB, CBSE, and various state boards.
Her work spans teacher development, curriculum alignment, and pedagogical innovation. At CuriousEd, she conducts training sessions for the team and user schools with a strong focus on building reflective, culturally aware, and high-impact teaching practices.

CICTL is an 18-week long programme. The course consists of over 150 hours of learning through a variety of learning formats to accommodate introduction of new concepts, practice and reflection.
While completing their 18-week learning programme, teachers are expected to build their portfolio of learning and reflection evidence. Post-evaluation and achieving a minimum of Pass grade, they are issued a Certificate of Achievement.

1. What is the fee for the entire course?
The total fee for the 18-week programme
- For Indian residents- INR 40,000 + GST
- For non-Indian residents- USD 500
This includes access to all live sessions, mentor support, and certification processing. The entire fee must be paid before the commencement of the programme.
2. Who should join?
In-service teachers with at least 1 year of teaching experience. Eligible candidates must:
- be a full or part-time teacher employed in an educational institution such as a school, college, university
- teach in their current institution over a full academic year, for a minimum of 24 weeks and a minimum of six hours per week
- have the regular support of a mentor who understands the essential principles that underpin this qualification, and can provide helpful advice and observations
- teach a group with a minimum of six learners
- be responsible for planning, teaching and formatively assessing groups of learners
- have English language competence comparable to at least Level B2 in CEFR or a minimum of 5.5 on IELTS.
- commit to dedicating 8-10 hours of their time every week for PDQ learning
3. I have already done the teacher eligibility course for my country. Is this programme relevant for me?
The programme is helpful for any teacher looking for upskilling their teaching and learning practices. While the teacher eligibility course you would have attended is helpful in building your skills for your local context, this programme gives you access to international teaching practices and resources. This broadens your perspective and helps you enhance your daily teaching.
4. The school that I teach in follows the Cambridge curriculum. How will this programme help?
The CICT&L programme syllabus is designed by Cambridge itself and is strongly aligned with the Cambridge teacher standards. While it is equally helpful for teachers teaching all kinds of curriculum, it will add a lot of value to those teaching Cambridge curriculum by setting them up as per Cambridge expectations.
5. My teaching job is very demanding. Where will I find time to learn from this programme?
The programme is designed for teachers working full-time in schools. The online sessions will be scheduled during weekday evenings or weekends. Some of the tasks will be completed as a part of classroom practice and the others will be expected to be done in the teachers’ free time. If you are willing to commit yourself to learning, the programme will not affect your schoolwork at all.

6. What is the maximum duration by which I can receive my certificate?
The CICT&L programme at CuriousEd is an 18-week long programme. As a candidate, you will be expected to submit evidence of learning, reflection and class observation in a collective portfolio. After submission of your final portfolio of evidence at the end of the 18th week, you will receive your evaluated grades and passing certificate in the following weeks. CuriousEd will notify you about it and will also invite you to our virtual graduation ceremony.
7. Who will be my trainers?
The programme will be facilitated by accredited Cambridge Programme Leaders. These trainers will conduct live sessions and will also connect with you throughout the programme. Apart from the PL, you will also have a dedicated mentor to support you with the programme. The mentor will observe your classroom, have feedback conversations with you and help you personalize your learning journey.
