Teaching-Learning Resources

Teaching-Learning Resources by CuriousEd are a set of tools and support items designed to help the teachers with their lesson delivery. These resources include videos, presentations or subject-specific online links related to lesson plans, activities, and in-class assessments in the Teacher Guide. They can be used to display or project in classrooms, and also work as great discussion prompts for the ongoing topic.

Elements of a Teaching-Learning Resources

  1. Information to Be Covered in the Lesson
  2. Discussion Prompts to Engage Students
  3. Facts and Questions to Encourage Critical Thinking
  4. Interactive Videos to Facilitate Learning
  1. Web-based Activities to Explore Concepts
  2. Instructional Videos to Help Teachers Accurately Understand
  3. Concepts

The Teaching-Learning resources are an additional support to the already existing Teacher Guides and Student Workbooks present in the classroom. Flexible by design, teachers can customize these resources to match their teaching style and students’ comprehension levels. These resources are designed authentically at CuriousEd in strong alignment with Cambridge’s expectation of curriculum.

The teaching-learning resource videos are made for concepts that require precision while being taught to the students. One such example is that of Phonic curriculum, which involves the verbal and auditory precision while being introduced as well as practiced. The teachers can use it as a reference material to prepare their lessons, where they learn from the video and replicate in the class, or use the video directly in the class for students to follow and repeat for understanding and practice.
